The Most Important Conversation You’ll Ever Have
We have all had important conversations in our life.
With our spouse.
Our kids.
Our parents.
Our siblings.
Our Higher Power.
Our boss.
Our employees.
Some of you might have had one recently.
Some of you might need to have one right now.
So what do you do when you need to have an important conversation?
You probably prepare for it in some way.
If it’s a work conversation, you might look over some data, (or at least make sure you have your facts straight.)
You probably prepare some talking points so you can get your point across.
If you’re a leader, you might even prepare some slides to deliver the news to your team in a meeting.
Regardless, when you reflect on important conversations you’ve had in your life, it’s probably safe to say that you prepared in some way for it.
And I would bet that you always worked to choose your words carefully.
While all of those conversations are important in our lives, what if I were to tell you there was still another conversation, that you have every single day, that is even more important?
There is.
It’s the conversation you have with yourself.
And the conversation you’re having every single day is either moving you towards or away from you and your goals.
How are you preparing for it?
I’d love to teach you more about how to prepare for the conversation you have with yourself every day and help you get on the path of moving you closer to you and your goals.
